This is the first progeny that we have offered out our new herd sire from Sandbur Ridge Red Angus. We used 6013 A.I. on both heifers and cows and then used him naturally on 48 2-year-old heifers where he held his flesh well. These first progeny calved well, weaned above average (101 ratio), performed at a year of age above average (101 ratio) and have the type and kind that seem to work.
